2023 Policy Fellow
The PowerHouse Texas Policy Fellowship Program is now reviewing applications on a rolling basis until the deadline on November 30, 2022. This PAID fellowship program pairs fellows with bipartisan members of the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate based on their aligned policy interest and areas of expertise. The Fellowship program is specifically intended for individuals with a background in science, engineering or environmental sciences who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in policymaking and the legislative process. Additionally, fellows meet regularly at education seminars with energy technology experts, legislative staff, researchers, academics and stakeholder groups. This program is unique–it is the only undergraduate and graduate-level fellowship program in the Texas State Capitol focused on energy policy.

This opportunity is for students and recent alumni interested in beginning their careers in policy making. Only students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited institution, or who have completed such a program within two years of January 9, 2023, are eligible to apply.
