A few things you should know..
- We work with your class and extracurricular schedule to determine your internship schedule. Please note: we recommend working two full 8 hr days and one 4 hr half day
- Preferred (but not required): Able to come into the office on either Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday
- This internship is for credit only
- This fall internships is 15 weeks long and a max of 20 hours a week
- Fall internship start September 12 and end December 22

Overview:
We’re headquartered in beautiful Stamford, CT. If you’re commuting by train, we offer a shuttle that runs to and from the Stamford train station.
The Internal Communications Intern will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within their designated department, providing support to other departments as needed, as well as handling administrative tasks.
You Will:
- Help communicate effectively through various mediums and customize content to reach different audiences. This includes but is not limited to bi-weekly newsletters, employee surveys, and internal social employee advocacy tools.
- Provide support for vineyard vines’ intranet (The Vine). Assist with the site look and feel, content creation, and analytics to drive employee engagement and increase traffic to various communication platforms.
- Help create the vineyard vines internal events calendar such as: Quarterly Team Huddles, speaker series, team bonding and volunteering activities. Help maintain a consistent look and feel across all content.
- Work with the Sr. Manager of Internal Communications to ensure all assets produced are aligned with our brand standards and current marketing campaigns.
- Gain exposure to the Marketing and PR teams by collaborating on brand initiatives and supporting the internal strategy for all brand announcements.
- Collaborate with Retail Communications to ensure relevant messages are shared across the organization in a consistent way.
- Participate in and support the growth of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and other related Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Share your experiences and knowledge in a safe space — we are looking forward to learning from you!
What you bring:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or a related field
- Familiarity in Adobe Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Familiarity in GSuite applications including Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar
- Retail experience is a plus!
- Be a strong, natural writer, able to draft accurate and engaging copy
- Strong time management and project management skill set
- Must be a team player and willing to adapt to the needs of the team
- Have the ability to engage on all levels of the organization
- Be able to multitask and handle multiple projects at once
- Must be self-motivated and have a positive can-do attitude
