Programs Intern Role
Nomi Network combats human trafficking by creating pathways to safe employment, empowering women and girls to break cycles of slavery in their families and communities.
Compensation:
*This is an unpaid internship, but it can be eligible for school credit.
Location: Remote
Hours: 10-20 hrs / week (flexible around your schedule)
Dates: Mid September- Mid-December
Position Description:
Nomi Network is looking to hire a Program Intern to support our HQ team. As a member of our small and fast-growing nonprofit, you could bring your ideas to the table and assist with all aspects of program development. You will learn the ins and outs of the non-profit world and gain valuable experience in a professional environment. Specifically, as our Program intern, you will be responsible for assisting in program development, research, and execution.
Core Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Strategic Partnerships Manager to execute program development
- Research potential stakeholders and resources
- Assist in researching and editing for grants, proposals, and program collateral
- Follow leads to assist in securing partnerships
- Monitor and research trending topics on human trafficking and nonprofits
- Help compile and update contact lists for partnerships outreach
- Create and curate content for blog
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Present key findings to team as part of a final project for the summer

- An excellent verbal and written communicator
- Responsible, reliable, confident, and have a desire to learn
- Self-starter, able to work well alone or with others
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and Google Suite
* Enrollment in a Bachelor/Master’s degree program at the time of the internship is required (certificate programs are not eligible)
