POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW, DISCOVERY CHEMISTRY - ZBIEG AND TERRETT LAB


The position will focus on developing new strategies for protein bioconjugation using cutting-edge technologies in catalysis and organic methodology.  Projects will include developing and advancing new methods that have been recently developed in the Mentor's laboratories.  

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Completed or in the last year of a Ph.D. in an applicable scientific discipline or a related field of research.
  • A background in synthetic organic chemistry and/or chemical biology.
  • A proven track-record of success as demonstrated by publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals. 
  • Teamwork and strong communication skills are essential as the successful candidate will be working in an interdisciplinary team across the broader Genentech research organization.
