Office of Regulatory Intelligence Management – Framework Development and Analysis

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Office of Regulatory Intelligence Management (ORIM) is a newly established function with a firmwide remit within Risk Management and Compliance. ORIM is responsible for transformation projects supporting firmwide strategy on matters regarding regulatory intelligence and change management. This new function will manage initiatives contributing to the design and operation of governance frameworks, technology innovations, and business processes and controls in order to help meet the ever changing needs of an evolving regulatory environment.

The firm is seeking a highly effective and analytical senior associate for framework development and business analysis who will contribute to thought leadership, project execution, and promoting the team’s objectives globally across lines of business and corporate functions. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, curious, and communicative team member.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide critical support to the Governance pillar of the function, representing strategic vision and driving project agenda
• Champion business analysis for program, working on a wide range of topics to support progress across department workstreams
• Research and analyze current business processes and best practices to identify process improvements; craft strong analysis-backed business cases for proposals
• Gather and critically analyze diverse collections of qualitative and quantitative data; relay succinct conclusions to inform team decisions and direct project efforts
• Develop clear and compelling communication materials for audiences at all levels of seniority and familiarity with work at hand
• Draft strong written content for policy and procedural documents, business requirements, technical specifications, project artefacts, internal and external communications

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degrees or professional certifications a plus
• Minimum 3 years’ experience at a multinational financial services institution (Risk, Compliance, Legal preferred), consultancy, or relevant industry
• Prior experience in governance roles, framework / policy development, strategy, process improvement, or project management advantageous
• Exceptional writing and communication skills in concise management presentation formats as well as detailed narrative form
• Strong logical and analytical skills with a creative passion for developing and expressing best-in-class ideas
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data analytics/visualization tools a plus
• Professional maturity and confidence in expressing a point of view with varied stakeholders and audiences
• Highly adaptable interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage others in different business and functional areas
• Demonstrated strength in learning quickly, synthesizing opinions and facts from multiple sources, and reasoning into next steps while maintaining thoughtful transparency with peers and management
