Postdoctoral Fellow - Computational Biology - Watkins Lab | Genentech

The Structural and Computational Biology group within Prescient Design seeks exceptional postdoctoral fellows who have a demonstrated research background in protein design, a passion for independent research and technical problem-solving in the life sciences, and a proven ability to develop and implement ideas from research. We are looking for researchers interested in developing new computational modeling approaches for biomolecular structures.

The successful candidate will be a recent PhD graduate in Computational Biology/Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Qualified applications are expected to have a strong record of publications and conference presentations. Strong programming skills in Python are required and C++ is preferred. Familiarity with at least one existing computational modeling package (e.g., Rosetta; MODELLER; a molecular dynamics framework) is required; established history of development contributions is preferred.
