We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice in Menlo Park, CA. In this role, you will work as part of a team on solving (diverse and interesting) engineering and scientific problems facing our clients.
You will be responsible for:
- Performing analysis/consulting on a variety of scientific/engineering problems in a variety of electrical/electronic components, products, and systems
- Project areas include both reactive and proactive issues facing our clients: failure analysis, risk assessment, reliability, design, manufacturing, and others
- Working as an individual contributor as well as in multidisciplinary teams
- Participating at every stage of project lifecycle – scoping and proposals, design of experiments, conducting and supervising tests, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and presenting to clients
- Pursuing business development opportunities
You will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field such as Applied Physics
- Technical focus in electronics, semiconductors, circuits, electromagnetics, power electronics, batteries, or related cross-disciplinary areas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with electrical test equipment; designing, validating, and conducting electrical tests; troubleshooting
- Ability to convey technical conclusions to both technical and non-technical staff in engineering, business, and industry
- Self-starter with strong fundamentals, interested in learning about new topics
