Business Development Associate

Job Overview:
Xyntek is seeking entrepreneurial, dedicated, and motivated employees that are interested in joining a fast-paced Business Operations and Technology Sales Team. The ideal candidates will be involved in all aspects of the Sales and Business Development activities necessary to maintain Xyntek’s rate of market growth and positioning.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales within the Life Sciences industry across one or more of the following Solutions areas:
  • IoT and Industry 4.0 Solutions;
  • Big Data, Data Warehousing, and Data Analytics;
  • Collaborative Robotics;
  • Machine Vision;
  • Biometrics & Biometric Data;
  • Execution Systems:
  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES);
  • Electronic Batch Record Systems (EBRS);
  • Serialization / Track & Trace – Supply Chain Systems;  
  • Real Time Process Automation:
  • Machine Controls (specifically, PLCs);
  • Continuous and Batch Processes;
  • SCADA Systems;
  • GxP Validation & Compliance;
  • Business Consulting/Project Management/Governance.

Tasks Include:
  • Screening potential business deals/opportunities with end user customers & analyzing market strategies, deal/opportunity requirements, prospect and market potential, and financials;
  • Locating or proposing potential business solutions by contacting end user customers and potential technology partners & discovering and exploring opportunities;
  • Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations;
  • Enhancing organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests while also exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;
  • Identifying trendsetter and innovative ideas by researching industry related events, publications, and announcements;
  • Developing negotiation strategies and positions by studying the potential integration of new ventures within company strategies and operations ensuring to examine risks and potentials with both the end user and the potential technology partners' needs and goals;
  • Protecting the organization's value by keeping all business strategies and technical information confidential; Continuously updating one’s knowledge base of the industry by participating in educational conferences, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, participating in professional organizations, and presenting technology updates and Xyntek’s success stories at professional conferences.

Requirements


·    Qualifications:

• Bachelors / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, MIS or related IT degrees, Technical Marketing;
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in successful selling of technical solutions and services within the Life Sciences environments;
• Ideal skillsets include:
o History of Meeting/Exceeding Sales Goals;
o Strong Prospecting, Presentation, and Closing Skills;
o Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs (Solution Selling), Territory Management, Market Knowledge of the Life Science Industry, Self-Motivation for Sales/Results, High Energy Level, and Professionalism;
• Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills;
• Experience with typical off-the-shelf CRM software such as act!, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Freshsales CRM, and other PC-based office software packages such as Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.​
