Matern Professional Engineering is looking for an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Designer at its Ft. Myers, FL office.
Duties include interior and exterior lighting, power distribution, standby power systems, surge and lightning protection.

Engineer: requires BSEE, with EIT preferred.

Designer: no BS degree required. 5+ years of applicable experience preferred.

Strong working knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD is preferred. Must be knowledgeable of National/FL Electrical codes. Word, Outlook and Excel familiarity. Must be able to multi-task, work under changing deadlines and possess superior written and oral communication skills.

Candidate must be able to pass background checks, not limited to the Jessica Lunsford Act to be able to visit school sites and FBI for government buildings.
