Sr. Supply Chain Specialist- ERP/MES (Open)

The Sr. Supply Chain Specialist will be a senior level individual contributor in the area of business technology solutions including SAP and MES (Werum/PAS-X) who will be a key part of a technology solution team in Supply Chain to deliver application and technology-based solutions for the LV site. Responsibilities revolve around working with the functional business units to translate business needs into technology solutions. The Sr. Specialist will become an expert in technology solutions for the business by developing and improving processes related to data management and application integration. An emphasis is placed on experience in design and build of MES (Manufacturing Execution Software) and master data management of SAP. Sr. Specialist will serve as a team representative on cross-functional projects in support of more senior colleagues in the technology solution team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Introduces and integrates new technologies and/or new processes, as needed. Analyzes systems and processes and impact on business performance. Partners with IT and the business unites to develop tools needed to support business processes.
- Assists in the development of operational functional requirements and business process flow architecture of business enabling software such as SAP, LIMS, Oracle, MES, LES.
- Develop and design/build electronic batch records in MES (PAS-X).
- Develop and design/build reports and queries of data from business applications such as MES and SAP to support business decisions and strategy.
- Works with functional business units to execute the implementation and deployment of new software applications as well as enhancements, maintenance and upgrades of existing applications.
- Accountable for designing master data processes in various applications (SAP, MES, LIMS) for creation, approval, integration, and maintenance of data that supports LV operations including Ambisome manufacturing and packaging, Solid Dose packaging, clinical operations, and future commercial fill operations.
- Partners with global master data team to ensure local requirements, processes, and input are considered and incorporated into the implementation of business technology solutions.
- Executes local master data management processes in line with a global master data governance model.
- Serves as a project lead within the function or leads functional modules on large scale cross functional projects.
Education, Experience, and Skills
- 6+ years of relevant experience in related field and a BS or BA; or
- 4+ years of relevant experience and a MA/MBA/MS; or
- Demonstrated high aptitude for working with technical details and data applications required.
- Strong working knowledge of business enabling software such as MES, SAP, LIMS, Oracle, LES is highly desired.
- Certification as a technical expert in SAP and/or MES is highly desirable.
- Experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment highly desirable
