Fiscal Coordinator, Office of Sponsored Research - Temporary

Responsibilities


This position will support the Office of Sponsored Research Financial Services and Data Teams during the preparation and completion of the merger.  Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare journal entries and labor redistributions
  • Complete entry level closeouts of sponsored awards
  • Assist with special projects as needed for Data and Financial teams
  • Post and review budget adjustments
  • Assist with the award activation process
  • Support with administrative requests


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting OR equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use reasoning and analytical skills to make judgments with some support and mentoring
  • Ability to multi-task and be a team player
  • High level of interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Federal grants and contracts experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with PeopleSoft preferred but not required
