Administrative Coordinator I - Temporary

The Administrative Coordinator I (temporary) is responsible for the coordination and implementation of administrative functions for the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR.)

Responsibilities


  • Assists the supervisor and staff with the implementation and administration of Center and OSR policies and procedures
  • Acts as a liaison with staff and outside individuals/organizations, answering questions and resolving problems with regard to the OSR
  • Coordinates the production, printing, and distribution of new and revised Center and department manuals/business processes
  • Recommend and implement policies and procedures related to the OSR
  • Perform administrative and clerical responsibilities including scheduling meetings, composing memos, reports and minutes; establishing and maintaining department files in database form
  • Assist Manager with special projects
  • Perform other responsibilities as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Five years of progressively complex administrative experience
  • Strong computer skills including word processing, database programs, and spreadsheets. Experience in budget monitoring
  • Supervisory experience may be required
