Project Coordinator - Transmission
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Project Coordinator – Transmission provides support and oversight for the Transmission team and enables streamlined processes between the regions/teams and internal company resources, assists with the needs of management and staff, and ensures the team has the tools in order to meet the team’s goals.
Main accountabilities:
- Internal Process Management, Tracking & Training
- Track Interconnection priorities for the West, Central and Eastern Regions.
- Manage weekly meetings and follow-up
- Assist Directors of Development and team to achieve a more streamlined internal process for interconnection review and tracking.
- Develop standard documentation and reporting for interconnection tracking to ensure consistency of messaging to decision-makers
- Coordinate across all regions to ensure consistency between West/Central and East regions.
- Annual Project Budget Creation and monthly tracking/reporting to Transmission Director; work with Planning and Controls (P&C) team to track expenditures and G&A costs
- Assist Directors of Development and region with requests for presentations, reporting, etc.
- Transmission Control Tools: Set, train and hold accountable to one standard across the department.
- Project checklist and Interconnection schedule for all projects.
- Appian documentation.
- Teams Channel management.
- Project internal communications
- Priority Project slides/Updates
- Manage contract administration including PO/PR submittals, change management and contract closeout.

Travel: 10% - as needed
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 2 – 5 years of progressively responsible project management experience in the energy industry
- Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred.
- Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred
