Digital Strategy and Transformation Project Manager (Hybrid remote work schedule)

General Description:

The Digital Strategy and Transformation Project Manager will be responsible for expanding the 1) digital strategy and transformation throughout the organization, 2) process analysis, evaluation, and design of programs, 3) provide & prioritization of improvement opportunities and initiatives, 4) serve as the Project Manager for projects and provide status reports to top-management review and decision, 5) help bridge users’ needs and requirement with the devitalization's initiatives driving business processes efficiency, productivity and user experience. 

This position will be on a hybrid remote work schedule, working three days in office and two days from home.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Contribute to EDPR digital strategy definition and provide an encompassing view of initiatives being developed in that regard (e.g. PMO)
  • Process Governance. Identify, document and analyze business rules and users’ requirements that govern implementation of business processes – e.g. RACI, process hierarchy
  • Prepare and/ or present status update reports and points for decision in relevant forums with top-management participation (e.g. C-Level)
  • Responsible for engaging and driving organizational areas, departments, and employees in researching, exploring, evaluating and co-creating future desired processes, systems and/or software experiences
  • Actively research and develop internal and external benchmark exercises to challenge the organization, with forward-thinking, digital, user-centric, and future-like view
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on market developments regarding process digitalization – e.g. process management, process automation, mobility, advanced analytics and knowledge management
  • Support in preparing, organizing, and conducting Design Thinking workshops with wide organization involvement and collaboration in ideating, prioritizing, and designing new opportunities
  • Analyze and prioritize opportunities for processes digitalization against objective, analytical criteria that maximize value (e.g. productivity, efficiency, user satisfaction, cost-benefit analysis)
  • Consolidate and evaluate process and organizational data (incl. desk research, design workshops and/or benchmarking) and present recommendations in a clear, structured, and executive way
  • Collaborate with internal and external process design and software developers, and follow-up on digitalization initiatives technical development and implementation, to ensure optimal outcomes

RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

Travel: 30%-40%, with some international travel required

PEOPLE: 0-1 direct reports, however, is responsible for project management of processes within the departments of the organization

REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION: 
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree (or higher) in Business or Engineering
  • MBA and/or topic specific certification is a plus (e.g. in Project Management, Six Sigma, Lean or similar domain

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in digital strategy and transformation consulting projects
  • Experience in leading and facilitating co-creation, cross-functional workshops – including UX/UI design and Design Thinking methodologies
  • Experience in managing complex projects, including PMO of large, complex transformational programs and initiatives, from strategy to execution
  • Experience in preparing presentations, and presenting to C-Level
  • Expert in Microsoft Office tools – especially in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI
  • Experience in managing projects that deliver new or modified business processes, systems and tools to support business requirements
  • Familiarity with a modern programming language, understanding of relational databases, SQL, and some prior programming experience will be considered
  • Understanding of IT/OT requirements for the implementation of process digitalization and automation solutions

Physical demands & working conditions:
  • Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment

  • Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
  • Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary
