Global Channel Manager

New England Biolabs is supplier of choice for scientist across the globe. The international distribution of New England Biolabs’ products is achieved through a worldwide network of distributors, affiliates and NEB owned subsidiaries, all committed to providing quality, value and excellent service.
New England Biolabs is seeking a Global Channel Manager who will be situated at the Headquarters in Ipswich, MA to manage a global network of Distribution Partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure close relations with regional Channel Managers
  • Build and maintain close relations with the management and sales teams of all Distribution Partners
  • Develop and execute a business plan to achieve the revenue and growth goals for the global network of Distribution Partners
  • Assess Partner performance using sophisticated data analytics and identify areas for potential growth
  • Evaluate and approve new Distribution Partners to address new markets or to replace underperforming Partners
  • Ensure all Distribution Partners meet contractual obligations
  • Organize and participate in regional technical and sales trainings
  • Collaborate with US-based and global marketing teams to ensure a cohesive marketing strategy appropriate for the Distribution Partner network
  • Attend and ensure NEB presence at relevant industry and academic-focused conferences
  • Build relations with KOLS and Industry leaders
  • Ensure strong links across the Distribution Partner network for sharing of best practices
  • Ensure the NEB Brand is represented appropriately within the global network
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Technical Support and Sales staff in the US as well as subsidiary General Managers to ensure Distribution Partners have up to date Product information

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant life science discipline e.g., Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related area with more than 5 years’ sales experience
  • Experience in international business essential, experience managing international Distribution Partners preferred
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Passionate and energetic personality with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Team minded leader with ability to work within various regional cultures
  • Experience analyzing sales performance and identifying areas of opportunity within a consumable reagent portfolio
  • Ability to travel 30% of time
