Postdoctoral Position in Allergic Inflammation-Croft Lab

Job Summary
Postdoctoral position available immediately to join a multi-disciplinary team in the laboratory of Professor Michael Croft that is focused on control of inflammatory disease by TNF family proteins.
 
Qualifications
The project will investigate how several proteins related to TNF are important for the response of lung fibroblasts and smooth muscle cells that contribute to airway remodeling in severe allergic asthma. It will combine studies of human cells from normal and asthma patients with studies of conditional knockout mice in models of severe asthma.
 
Leveling Requirements
●   Applicants should have a Ph.D. or M.D. in Immunology.
●  Ideal candidates will have a strong background in cellular immunology with an emphasis on lung inflammation, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Prior experience with culture and analysis of human cells, and/or with mouse models of inflammatory disease, is preferable, with knowledge of immunology techniques such as cytokine analyses, flow cytometry, and RNA-seq.
