Under the supervision of the Regional Medical Director or Deputy Regional Director, performs advanced (senior-level) managerial work in coordination with the program supervisors for the Communicable Disease (CD) Program: (HIV/STD, Zoonosis, Tuberculosis Elimination and Immunization programs). Oversees the establishment, implementation and evaluation of strategic goals and objectives. Oversees the administrative functions of the CD section. Plans, assigns and supervises the work of assigned staff. Oversees and/or participates in the development guidelines, procedures and policies at the state and regional levels. Prepares and/or reviews reports. Coordinates with the nursing program to ensure the attainment of state and federal goals.
