Geotechnical Engineer

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is actively seeking a highly qualified Geotechnical Engineer with a passion for developing software applications that require geotechnical modeling and analysis. You will join a diverse multi-disciplined collaborative team of engineers and developers to build novel solutions for the US defense and Intelligence communities. The ideal candidate will have an active interest in combining your geotechnical background with software development. Your day-to-day work will consist of engineering research and analysis, software development, and software testing, including the evaluation of algorithm and system performance. The candidate should demonstrate an initiative in problem-solving and a desire to incorporate novel solutions for complex problems.
