Marketing Research Intern - Virtual

About this Position:

 
Village Book Builders is seeking passionate and innovative talent to boost our social media presence and marketing capabilities. As the Marketing Intern, you are crucial to Village Book Builders’ community engagement and impact. You will work closely with our marketing team to help develop brand awareness about our organization through social media and media outlets. This position is an unpaid 3 month internship with a 10-12 hours per week commitment.
 


Responsibilities:

  • Lead social content creation research for Village Book Builders
  • Conduct research on social media marketing effectiveness
  • Maintain unified brand voice across various social media platforms.
  • Drive Increased brand awareness to help attract volunteers and potential donors.
  • Use social media traffic data to analyze what is and is not working, and reinforce or refocus key messages accordingly.
  • Research media outlets through which Village Book Builders can increase awareness and outreach
  • Other tasks as assigned
 



Qualifications:

  • Experienced individual pursuing or with a degree in Marketing, Market Communications, Public Relations or related field.
  • Knowledge and experience with multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Ability to conduct marketing research
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Detail-oriented approach with an ability to work diligently to meet deadlines

Village Book Builders is passionate about giving all children an opportunity to gain an education. We travel around the world to build libraries for small communities, and then we set up mentoring programs to help students one-on-one.
