Graphic Designer (Freelance)

Hello! 

We have a small and growing men’s western shirt brand (www.westmajor.com), and are looking for a freelance designer to help us throughout the year with various design and design related projects. 

These would be projects for social, our website, and email campaigns. 

Such projects and tasks will include and range from -

- Laying text over photos for social media / web / email 

- Helping us curate / craft the visual layout of our instagram 

- Create graphics, text or collages for our website, instagram, email campaigns 

- Help assist in the overall visual direction of the brand across platforms

We will pay an hourly rate, which is negotiable, and will be based on experience. 

Keep in mind, we’re a small and bootstrapped operation that’s in an early phase of growth.

The ideal candidate would be someone that’s either more junior (student or recent grad), and looking for experience, and/or someone that really aligns and connects with our brand, and sees the long term potential for more opportunity and growth. 

Our goal is for this to be a very flexible and rewarding job that leads to more work over a long period of time. 

Requirements: 

- Knowledge of photoshop / illustrator 

- A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, or related field - OR, a current student pursing a degree in one of these fields 

- Some examples of your work (website, social, portfolio, etc.) 

- Someone that sees, gets, understands the aesthetic of the brand, has a passion for menswear / western wear, and fits with our teams culture
