Summary

These positions are located throughout the Agency. The location will be determined after a selection has been made for the position. If selected, you must work at one of the locations stated in this announcement. The salary will be commensurate with the location and applications will be considered on a rolling bases until the announcement closes 12/16/2022. Schedule A letters must be submitted to be considered for this opening.

$35,624 - $146,120 per year

Duties

Your application will be placed into a pool of individuals with disabilities for evaluation and referral to selecting officials for non-competitive hiring. This announcement may be used to fill one or more vacancies at any time without notification, in any series or grade.

When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses. NOTE: Career ladder promotions are not automatic, and all eligibility and qualifications requirements must be met in order to progress to the next grade level.

You may spend work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.

Conditions of Employment

You must be a U.S. citizen. You must submit a resume and required documents--see How to Apply section. Position has education requirements. EPA and non-EPA applicants must submit transcripts/course listings. As required by Executive Order 14043, if you are selected, you will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit documentation of proof of vaccination by 11/22/21, or before onboarding with the agency if after 11/22/21, except in limited circumstances. This position may be designated as Low, Moderate, or High Risk and requires a background investigation. Unless an appropriate background investigation is already on record with the Office of Personnel Management, you must undergo a background investigation. All conditions of the pre-employment security process must be met before an official letter of employment can be issued with a report for duty date.

If you are selected, you may be required to complete a two-year trial period.
