Biological Sciences Intern (Remote)
Forward-thinking investment firm portfolio manager seeks an up-and-comer in the world of bio-chem, bio-physics or other areas of the natural sciences to provide insight and thought analysis through this lens on current and potential stock investments. Ideal candidates would be knowledgeable with some research experience, while still humble and sincerely interested in learning how to apply their expertise in a new arena. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate the technical into layman’s terms are necessary in order to enter into dialogue within the firm. A sense of humor is always welcome. Responsibilities would include analyzing clinical data and trials in search of potential new drug and platform technology opportunities, communicating such findings through writing and conversation, and some basic financial modeling and analysis (which can be learned on the job).
This position is compensated, remote, and flexibly scheduled. The duration of the internship is six months at minimum, with the potential to become a full-time permanent position.
