Business Analyst Intern

CRA is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to assist with numerous aspects of the Operations Support Services (OSS) division’s day-to-day operations, with a focus on project management, proposal production, and other business operations initiatives. The ideal candidate will balance strong work ethic/attention to detail with an interest in understanding impacts on overall business processes and objectives​ ​while enhancing their computer skills and learning new systems and software. 

Day to day:

  • Support preparation of monthly project management information for technical divisions, including financial reporting, labor assignments, and action items
  • Provide data curation/entry support for our project management system (Unanet) and our sales and proposal management system (SalesForce)
  • Offer data retrieval/entry/maintenance support for company wiki, risk management, project deliverables, proposal documents and supporting information (e.g. resumes), and other areas as needed
  • Complete special projects as assigned, based on intern skillset, software proficiency, and experience level

What we are seeking:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • In pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in business/related field or with equivalent experience
  • Availability to work 40hrs/week for 12 summer weeks, Monday through Friday 
  • Preference to candidates that can start part-time virtually this spring (8-10 hours a week) and full time in the summer
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (experience with Microsoft Project is a strong plus); ability to quickly learn new systems software programs and problem-solve where appropriate
  • Efficient and accurate data entry/curation and database maintenance (experience with data analysis and ability to identify and flag discrepancies is a plus)
  • Strong follow-up skills and ability to organize applicable timelines and follow up with internal customer needs
  • Ability to work well individually as well as within a team environment
  • High level of business acumen and discretion concerning internal information
  • Previous exposure to Salesforce, or other (including custom) database applications preferred
