Electrical/Computer Engineering Internship
Responsibilities
- Support lead team on selection of hardware for rapid prototyping.
- Working under the direction of a senior engineer, performing guided tasks specified by engineering
- Support team performing Root Cause Analysis tasks
- Conduct hardware durability studies (V&V tests)
- Familiar with electrical system design
- Coordinate and work with other team members and disciplines
- Support mechanical and electrical assembly of a product
- Perform other engineering and project related tasks related to support the electrical and mechanical design teams
- Support development of Python, C, C++ code development on embedded hardware (e.g. Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson, Arduino, etc.)
Minimum requirements
- Must be US Citizen
- Must live in San Antonio
- Passion for creating great hardware, software and integrated systems, learning, teaching, teamwork
- Curious, always tinkering with new technologies and frameworks
- Enjoy wearing many hats while working on a diverse set of exciting projects
- Candidate must be in their Junior or Senior level of a Bachelor's degree or one year into Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related field
- Minimun GPA 3.25
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with embedded systems (Jetson, Raspberry Pi, Arduino)
- Experience working with cloud based providers (i.e. Azure, AWS, Heroku, GCP)
- Experience with some coding languages (Python, Matlab, Assembly, C, C++)
- Experience with Linux system administration, especially using Ansible, Terraform, or similar provisioning tools
- Experience with JavaScript and NodeJS
- Experience with ML frameworks/libraries (PyTorch, Tensorflow)

- Monday to Friday
- 8am - 5pm
- Minimum 20 hrs per week
Work Location: On-site support San Antonio
Pay $18-$21 per hour based on qualifications
