We are currently seeking a Recruiting Coordinator - University Recruiting for our Human Resources team in Menlo Park, CA. In this position, you will play a critical role in our efforts to identify and recruit talented Ph.D. engineers and scientists for consulting positions within Exponent. As part of our HR team, you will support our many university recruiting events and recruiting activities. We have an exceptional recruiting culture, and we are excited about your interest in joining our team!

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting the University Recruiting Program
  • Managing our University Recruiting event schedule, registering for events, and coordinating event logistics
  • Maintaining accurate records of recruiting activity in our Applicant Tracking System (Taleo), such as creating candidate profiles and capturing interview activity
  • Posting job requisitions on LinkedIn, Handshake, and other job boards
  • Scheduling phone, video, lunch and final round interviews
  • Generating and distributing recruiting reports
  • Actively participating in weekly recruiting meetings
  • Collaborating with engineers and scientists within all our technical disciplines
  • Communicating in a friendly, professional, and inclusive manner with candidates
  • Assisting with other recruiting projects as needed

You will have the following skills and qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years of experience as a recruiting coordinator or in human resources preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in being detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and strong Excel skills are a plus
  • An interest in getting to know your colleagues
