Job Description:
The Cloud software engineer has first experience in programming with public clouds such as Google Cloud, Azure and AWS, and is familiar with the public key infrastructure and digital certificates. She/he has been as well exposed to industrial control system and to security implications. Successful Cloud software engineer is technical with excellent interpersonal skills she/he works effectively with internal and external customers and has demonstrated leadership within professional associations. She/he has very effective verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
> Assists in identifying and organizing requirements and producing specifications.
> Builds prototypes, products and systems suitable for testing and sets up and runs lab simulations.
> Develops and executes unit tests to ensure and maintain source code quality.
> Shares expertise throughout the organization and may provide user training for products.
> Identifies and keeps abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.
> May author technical reports, papers, articles, patents and presentations..
Qualifications:
> BS/MS in Computer science or Engineering or equivalent.
> Programming experience with Python or Java.
> Programming experience with public clouds such as Google Cloud, Azure and AWS is a plus.
> Experience with user management, security and identity management is a plus.
> Experience with OpenSource software such as Apache Hadoop ecosystems is a plus.
> Experience with Linux administration and linux scripts is a plus.
> Familiarity with basic networking is a plus.
> Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
> Familiarity with parallel file systems is a plus.
