IT Systems Analyst

General Summary:
As a member of the Center of Excellence, provides level 2 support to business areas responsible for the following functional areas:
  • Sales and Customer Service
  • Procurement
  • Research & Develop and Manufacturing engineering
  • Service Department
Specific Programs, ISVs, modules responsible for:
  • D365 Workflow configuration and management (i.e. purchase requisition approval process)
  • BlueStar engineering change management
  • Process Weaver / Xcarrier logistics ISV integration
  • D365 native product configuration settings and management
  • Trackit - IT service ticket management system: assign end-user service tickets to appropriate resource
  • Data Masons (SPS Commerce) EDI integration (secondary support within IT)
Responsibilities:
  • Provides configuration support within the D365 solution for the business areas responsible for.
  • Works with subject matter experts and key users from the business to document changes made to the D365 solution.
  • With subject matter experts and key users, creates Functional Design Documents for customizations requested to the D365 solution.
  • Assists subject matter experts and key users in creating test data and conducting tests for changes to configuration for D365 solution to assure the D365 solution performs to specification.
  • Supports subject matter experts in developing user instructions to enable end users to perform assigned business processes.
  • Performs analysis to determine inefficiencies in system performance.
Education and Experience:
  • BS Degree in Computer Information Systems or BS degree in a relevant business area.
  • Documented functional equivalent experience may be considered
  • High degree of standard business practices understanding (i.e. Procure to Pay, Order entry to cash receipt)
  • Previous experience with ERP solutions preferred.
  • Previous experience with D365 Finance and Operations preferred.
  • Proven performance in both written and oral user related communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Excellent time management skills
  • High degree of experience with standard Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Teams)
