Technical University Recruiter- Contract

- Plan and participate in campus recruiting events and develop and incorporate creative, state-of-the art recruiting strategies.
- Pre-screen, qualify and route candidates to multiple hiring groups across the organization.
- Interview candidates; market APL as an employer-of-choice to include sharing our total rewards; build relationships with candidates.
- Use your strong attention to detail to craft and extend compelling employment offers.
- Utilize knowledge of HR data sources and strong digital literacy to capture, prepare, and analyze data and information for staffing reports.
- Prepare and deliver effective communications that synthesize information and convey ideas in writing and verbally, to audiences of all levels.
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and trends.

Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
- Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, human resources or related field, or equivalent, with a minimum of two or more years' experience in a college recruiting role.
- Are a demonstrated problem solver, undeterred by obstacles.
- Possess an ability to adapt to and work with many different hiring groups.
- Have knowledge of current employment laws.
- Have experience using applicant tracking systems.
- Have demonstrated success working with College Career centers and systems (Handshake, Simplicity).
- Have strong communications skills to include writing effectively, speaking to large groups and influencing candidates and leaders.
- Have the ability to handle multiple, constantly evolving priorities.
- Can travel within the United Status, up to 20%, in support of APL's College Recruiting program (during Fall and Spring recruiting season.)
- Are able to execute the physical demands of the role including moving and setting up recruiting displays up to 25 lbs, and escorting applicants and student groups around the APL campus for interviews and /or Lab tours.

- Have experience with iCIMS or Taleo. - Have experiencing recruiting and sourcing candidates with high level security clearances. - Have prior experience working as a college recruiter.
- Are able to obtain a Secret clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship. Why work at APL?
