Chemical Handler

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
 Prefer prior experience working with chemicals, both transport and handling/mixing/pouring/maintenance. Will train for entry level position. Experience on an Emergency Response Team and respirator training a plus. Experience working in an ISO Class 4 clean room a plus. Math, computer and database skills using Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for maintaining supply and chemical stock in an ISO Class 4 clean room (order chemicals to support manufacturing requirements, verify and refill inventory, manage chemical and clean room supply deliveries, manage and stock cleanroom supplies, etc.). Perform and maintain daily chemical usage database and reporting. Follow all safety regulations for chemical and gas handling and storage. Work will require individual to be in the clean room on a daily basis.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required. Able to work flexible hours. Must be self-starter and work with little supervision. Be a strong team player.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or listen. The employee will spend a considerable amount of time in meetings using computers and other office equipment including phones. The employee will frequently be to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
EDUCATION DESIRED:
Requires  High School Education. Prefer technical training and/or 2 to 5 yrs experience related to chemical handling, but will train the right entry-level candidate. Chemical and gas inventory and control in an ISO Class 4 semiconductor clean room.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
