Technical Recruiter

Located in Malibu, California, HRL has been on the leading edge of technology, conducting pioneering research and advancing the state of the art. This is an onsite role in Malibu.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Manage talent searches across a variety of technical roles at all levels of the organization:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers on talent search strategies and the recruitment process, including the creation of inclusive job descriptions.
  • Provide a high-touch candidate experience and offer a transparent view of the larger team and culture at HRL
  • Proactively develop diverse pipelines of talent through networking, sourcing, marketing and relationship building.
  • Assess candidates against technical/functional and behavioral requirements.
  • Participate in industry events and career fairs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 4 years of recruiting experience with at least 2+ years working on high tech engineering positions.
  • Full lifecycle, Agency/Corporate recruiting experience for innovative software and/or hardware companies.
  • Skilled at managing complex searches due to evolving business needs, volume, ambiguity, stakeholders, etc.
  • Ability to influence and work effectively in a highly collaborative and distributed team-based environment.
  • Experience working independently on searches and ability to problem solve.
  • Strong work ethic with organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Natural curiosity to learn and contribute ideas, positive attitude, and ability to remain flexible in an ever changing environment.
  • Experience recruiting Cleared Professionals is a plus.
EDUCATION DESIRED:
Bachelor's Degree
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. ยง 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
