The Intern, Government Affairs Position
Sunnova Energy is searching for a Government Affairs intern to be responsible for
helping the Government Affairs team with research, legislative and regulatory
monitoring, and to support critical projects.

Intern, Government Affairs Responsibilities
• Provides research related to energy markets, policy best practices, current
policies, etc.
• Monitors legislative and regulatory hearings and dockets
• Provides support to the team on critical projects
• Drafts written comments and talking points
• Provides administrative support as needed

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or currently in pursuit of one
• 0-2 + years’ related experience

Preferred Qualifications
• Interest in or experience with clean energy policy
• Interest in or experience with government, legislative or regulatory policy
• Detail oriented, organized, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent research, writing, speaking and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions
• Open-office environment if based in Houston
