Amazon Robotics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com, empowers a smarter, faster, more consistent customer experience through automation. Amazon Robotics automates fulfillment center operations using various methods of robotic technology including autonomous mobile robots, sophisticated control software, language perception, power management, computer vision, depth sensing, machine learning, object recognition, and semantic understanding of commands. Amazon Robotics has a dedicated focus on research and development to continuously explore new opportunities to extend its product lines into new areas.

This individual will work with engineers in the Quality and Technical Operations teams to support the data collection and analysis to assist with root cause and corrective action.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Document routines, processes and procedures
  • Analyze test data and recommend/implement improvements
  • Prepare hardware for experiments and testing routines
  • Perform hardware and software debug support to Test Engineering
  • Interface with IT, Operations, Engineering and other departments


Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with software – LabVIEW/TestStand, MATLAB, Tableau
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, circuit characterization and debug
  • Experience with electrical engineering test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in lab environments, working in small teams and a self-starter
  • Previous co-op or experience in a professional environmental desired
  • Have effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Understanding of metrics, process capabilities, LEAN, databases, data collection and analysis
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good work ethic, desire to learn and be challenged
