Compensation and Benefits Manager

Job Description:
The Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for day-to-day management of the benefit programs, compensation design and administration, D365 HR (HRIS), administering leave of absences, and managing compensation and benefits team. This is a corporate function and the Compensation and Benefits Manager is a fiduciary on the benefits and member of the investment committee.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  1. Responsible for administration of the benefit plans, open enrollment, benefit trainings, communication strategy, employee support, and vendor management (account executives, broker, etc.)
  2. Partner with HR Director and senior leadership team to set the corporate benefits strategy.
  3. Assist in designing and deploying industry leading benefits with strong employee education through industry benchmarking and communication.
  4. Responsible for benefits plan compliance, audit, and reporting.
  5. Responsible for developing and reporting on benefit metrics (employee feedback, vendor performance, financial impact, etc.)
  6. Responsible for leave of absence administration (FMLA, STD, LTD, Worker Compensation, ADA, etc.)
  7. Responsible for maintenance of HR/Benefit system
  8. Responsible for administration of compensation system including job descriptions, job structure design, salary surveys, job analysis, etc.
  9. Responsible to oversee administration of the performance management and salary review process
  10. Provide data and reporting for AAP
  11. Responsible to oversee administration of time and attendance tracking
  12. General HR Administration
  13. Good reliability, attendance, and punctuality
  14. All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):
  1. Experience with legal and regulatory compliance of group health plans and 401k (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, 5500, etc.)
  2. Strong discretion and confidentiality
  3. Highly detail oriented, efficient, and organized
  4. Follow-up and follow-through skills
  5. Effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  6. Business acumen/manufacturing orientation
  7. Dedication to continuous improvement
  8. Ability to work independently or in a team
  9. Professional demeanor and driven
  10. Strong data analytics, metrics, and reporting skills.
  11. Experience with PowerBI helpful
  12. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, D365 HR)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field from not-for-profit regionally accredited university
  2. Eight (8) years of experience in Human Resources and Benefits with at least three (3) years in a leadership role.
  3. Experience in manufacturing, technology, or life science industry preferred.
