Content Specialist/Project Coordinator (Remote- ALL states)

HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE
Reporting to the Project Director of the CDC National E-learning Training Center (Evolve) project, the Content Specialist/Project Coordinator I, will work across ETR projects primarily with Evolve, YTHI, the Youth Engagement Network and help ensure the timely accomplishment of the following: curation and development of virtual learning products around prevention with positives, integrated HIV activities, and structural intervention content as outlined in the Evolve workplan; coordination and logistical activities outlined within the scope of work on assigned YTH and dfusion projects; as well as facilitate the recruitment, enrollment, and engagement of the focus population on selected studies and ETR projects. The Content Specialist /Project Coordinator I will possess content skills and experience in working in HIV and sexual reproductive health, outreach, and communication. This person will also have a community-driven and health equity focus and will coordinate projects that focus on key populations such as youth, LGBTQ communities, PLWH, etc. This position works remotely and can be located anywhere in the United States.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Three to five years’ experience within area of expertise.
  • Minimum of one-year experience as Project Coordinator.
  • Minimum of one-year experience overseeing the work of hourly staff and/or consultants.
  • Strong skills in group facilitation and presentation.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed people skills; ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and supporting applications, including internet, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision.
  • Experience monitoring project budgets.
  • Ability to provide initiative and oversee a project with multiple tasks from conception to completion as directed.
  • Ability to balance completion of designated project tasks, both short and long-term, with the performance of routine duties.
  • Ability to meet short deadlines, and willingness to work additional hours during deadline periods.
  • Ability to travel as assigned.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable DMV record, and proof of auto insurance required.
 
 
Location: Remote, open to all states. 

Starting Pay Range: 62,400-66,300.00 annually.
