Job Title: GIS Analyst
Location(s): Grand Junction, CO
Hiring Range: (Depending on education, experience) 
$42,000 - $50,000/yr Bachelor’s Degree and 0-5 years’ experience
$50,000 - $60,000/yr Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years’ experience
Status: Full-Time
FLSA: Exempt

Job Description:
RSI EnTech, LLC is recruiting for a GIS Analyst who will support the Defense-Related Uranium Mines (DRUM) program in the production of mapping figures for mine-specific reports that offer inventory results and evaluations of hazards and risks

Primary responsibilities and essential functions:
·        Work with DRUM program staff to create the mapping products needed for mine-specific reports.
·        Produce quality maps and figures of spatial information for inclusion in formal reports and field documents.
·        Provide spatial data analysis and loading of data for the DRUM program, including management of spatial data collected by DRUM field teams.
·        Update geodatabase tables and produce custom maps as required for report deliverables and presentations.
·        Provide QA/QC on spatial data collected in the field, and produce maps as needed for field personnel.
·        Assist with the management of geospatial data maintained for the DRUM program.
·        Communicate and collaborate with DRUM personnel concerning revisions to figures and geospatial data.
 
Work experience, skills, and capabilities needed:
·        Demonstrated experience in the use of Esri’s Desktop ArcGIS Pro software with cartography, data editing, data management, and data organization. This includes the use of ArcGIS Pro Map Series to facilitate figure production.
·        Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a technical team, both verbally and in writing.

Technical knowledge, certifications/licenses, and software proficiency required:
·        MS Office, including Excel.
·        Esri ArcGIS Desktop Pro.


Desirable qualifications, experience, or proficiencies of the ideal candidate:
·        Esri ArcGIS Desktop Associate Certification
·        GIS Professional Certification
 
Required Education and Years of Experience:
·        Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Geology, or related field. 
·        8 years of relevant experience can be used in place of a degree
 
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
