HR Generalist

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide excellent employee support in a timely manner. 
  • Understand all aspects of payroll in regard to payroll laws and regulations. 
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately. 
  • Ensure timely processing of all new hires, promotions and terminations.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates, etc.) in the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.
  • Performs E-Verify, Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains books current.
  • Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity. 
  • Contacting the technical team for arranging hardware and software for the new employee.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
  • Responsible to stay on top of new labor law and compliance regulations
  • Support other functions as assigned
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience at all times. 

Required Skills: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, HR or related field. 
  • Interests in HR related field
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices. 
  • Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Well organized with a high attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality. 
  • Previous experience with GUSTO is a plus. 
  • Experience in Employee Relation (onboarding, exit, transfer) and administration work is a plus.
