What we’re looking for 

Quadratic’s CRM & Loyalty team is a group of data-driven marketers who are responsible for strategy development, creative execution, platform architecture and management, and performance measurement and optimization.

We’re looking to add another team member to support our email marketing programs. As a member of our CRM and Loyalty team, you will actively manage email marketing and CRM programs on behalf of our clients and will work to ensure that the programs we run maximize customer retention, loyalty, and customer lifetime value.

Working across multiple brands and verticals, you will be tasked with creating, testing, and iterating on email plans to inspire, engage, and delight consumers with a world-class email experience. This is a highly collaborative role that interfaces with many internal departments and external partners. You will get the chance to work alongside creative teams as well as our decision science, digital analytics, and data intelligence teams. 

What you’ll do

  • Manage and execute email marketing programs from beginning to end, including strategic development, planning, targeting, setup, testing, execution, reporting, and optimization
  • Manage email lists, selection criteria, and ensure best-in-class delivery
  • Generate creative briefs and email wireframes for internal and external creative teams
  • Work within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other ESPs to build and deploy emails designed to drive revenue
  • Understand and develop segmentation strategies, and how you can use data queries to filter and target appropriate segments
  •  Remain current with email marketing best practices, CAN-SPAM compliance, and deliverability
  • Support reporting and strategy development– analyzing results, drawing conclusions, and developing strategic recommendations
  • Develop test plans, analyze performance, and deliver results with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Build a solid understanding of client’s business and industry and how key strategic issues can impact client/agency objectives
  • Become a certified Email Marketing Specialist within Salesforce
  • Proactively communicate with team leader and clients

Required qualifications

  • Strong written and visual communication skills
  • Organized but also adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytically minded with an interest in marketing, business strategy, and use of technology to reach marketing objectives
  • Experience or exposure to marketing plans and customer experience journeys
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • A positive, service-oriented approach to work

Additional qualifications and on-the-job learning opportunities

  • Experience with campaign management and the steps required to deploy an email campaign, start to finish
  • Evidence of a technical understanding of email marketing systems, governing laws and regulations, and industry best practices
  • Experience using web content or email marketing management platforms
  •  Experience with campaign management, including segmentation, development of house files, campaign creative asset development, testing, statistical significance testing, reporting and analysis
  • Knowledge of SMTP protocol, DNS, ISP/domain-specific delivery policies, and handling rules
  • Understanding of relational database management practices
  • Basic proficiency in HTM
  • Basic proficiency in SQL and other database management and query languages
