Organizational & Leadership Development Associate 12 Month Assignment (Hybrid remote work schedule)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

 
The Organizational Development Associate plays a meaningful role in enhancing organizational and leadership performance and achieving our People Strategy and Strategic Plan. This role supports the Organizational Development and Leadership Development Framework and Strategy and roadmap for EDPR NA to achieve a continuous developmental approach throughout the organization. It helps to develop a pipeline of diverse, capable leaders and individuals who can fill future roles, who are empowered and perform at their best.
Performs duties related to organizational development (OD) and transformation, mentoring and coaching. The position will work with the OD manager, leaders and subject-matter experts to understand non-technical, organization-wide program requirements to meet organizational needs. Evaluates development opportunities, curriculum and content as well as define appropriate delivery type to achieve stated objectives.
 
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supports the Leadership Development strategy and framework in North America that aligns with meeting business objectives and which will include the following activities:

Coaching

·        Provide coaching to leaders and their teams focused on improving individual performance, work unit performance, adaptation to change, manager- employee relationships, and human resources management practices.
·        Provides personalized development plans (LDPs) to coaching clients to align to client specific needs.
·        Helps to develop a coaching culture in the organization. Build leaders’ coaching skills through coach training. 
·        Facilitates group coaching pods
·        Administers and debriefs on Emotional Intelligence using EQi 2.0 tool
 
Organizational Development

·        Assists with creation and implementation of EDPR OD programs that connect employees with business goals, and that support leaders and the organization on leading transformation and innovation
·        Supports project management for organization-wide projects and initiatives as required.
·        Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans
·        Support transversal/corporate initiatives
·        Supports the Amplify process (similar to 360 assessments) in key individuals.
·        Additional duties as required.
 
Succession Planning and Competence Framework

·        Supports the annual Succession Planning exercise in NA, collaborating across geographies.
·        Supports the development LDPs, based on the results of the Company’s Succession Plan and coaching, key position planning based on results of gap analyses and assessments.
 
Program Development Support

·        Supports the development of targeted programs that build skills for leaders in preparation for future leadership roles.
·        Program components may include, but not be limited to, the assessment of leadership needs through focus groups, interviews, and/or surveys, creating the training courses, forums, and other supporting materials for leaders as well as designing the practice-based experiences for individuals or cohorts.
·        Supports the logistics and execution of Executive Education program
·        Supports the design and facilitation of leadership training

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED EDUCATION: 

·        Degree in a related field- Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Psychology,
·        ICF or similar coaching certifications preferred
·        EQi 2.0 Certification a plus

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
5+ years relevant experience in organizational and employee development, coaching
 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

·        Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create alliances to enable employee development, as well as strong ethical principles. Has integrity.
·        Self-starter with the ability to adapt quickly and advance the goals for the organization across all levels.
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·        Strong facilitator, and familiar with Zoom and Teams for program delivery
·        Ability to multi-task & comply with project deadlines and high attention to detail
·        Ability to work in a virtual environment as well as corporate office environment
·        Strong program and project management skills, and ability to operationalize and scale programs.
·        Ability to motivate, influence and optimize senior leadership, stakeholders and peer groups.
·        Ability to multi-task in fast-paced deadline-intensive environment; anticipate obstacles and plan contingencies.
·        Ability to think strategically while delivering practical solutions. Experience utilizing assessment tool for needs assessment,
·        Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred.

  • Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment
  • Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
  • Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
  • Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary
