Job Description
The Planner will be responsible for the execution of production scheduling and the development of control measures to track assigned projects. The planner will plan and execute project requirements through manufacturing. Generate and manage Work Orders for the project requirements and work with purchasing to initiate procurement of project materials. Determine quantities and timing of materials to control inventory flow to manufacturing floor and ensure continuity of supply in executing schedules. Other responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate production material activities. This involves the creation and execution of work orders in order to maintain production schedule.
  • Review project schedules to provide accurate and timely resolution of material shortages.
  • Resolve any late work orders and define schedule recovery. Daily review of work order status and update of work order due dates is required.
  • Interact with sales to provide shipping dates and follow up on order status.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Associates Degree in Business or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be organized and self motivated.
  • Must have experience with Excel.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Sound problem solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with general supervision.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
