Software Engineering Intern

The Virtual Heroes Division of Applied Research Associates in Orlando, Florida is seeking software engineering interns with programming experience. You will work on object-oriented software involving user interface tasks, architecture tasks, testing, and quality assurance. You will participate in a small, agile development team tasked with developing and integrating user interfaces, behavior, and/or mathematical models and methods. Intern positions often lead to full-time employment.

Software Engineering Intern Requirements:
  • Candidates selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Junior or senior standing in an accredited B.S or M.S. program in computer science or computer engineering. Coursework must include a substantial number of computer science courses. Coursework must also include math and physics courses
  • Experience and/or coursework in C, C++, or JAVA
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
