Reporting to the Head of the Applied Research and New Technology group in Switzerland, Hamilton Medical is looking to hire a US-based Physician to handle US-based research and develop reference sites and key opinion leaders.

Profile:

  • (Must) MD with at least 5 years of ICU (critical care) experience
  • (Must) Expert knowledge and specific interest in mechanical ventilation
  • (Must) Clinical research / studies experience with publication history (ideally past experience as primary investigator)
  • (Preferred) Hamilton Medical ventilator hands-on experience
  • (Preferred) Established MD critical care network in US
  • (Preferred) Training/speaker experience at workshops and congresses
  • (Preferred) Worked at a university or teaching hospital within critical care department

Responsibilities:


  • High level: responsibilities in clinical research / studies management, KOL network development, clinical education and new technology development
  • In detail:

  • Easivent support: Support CAS team for the bedside training and discussing clinical issues with investigators. Coordinate US sites participating in the trial.
  • Manage and develop US KOL MD and RT network, support US clinician willing to do research with HM ventilators
  • Coordinate and support HM clinical research / studies in US
  • Initiate and possibly lead as investigator new HM funded / sponsored clinical studies at home institution (especially if part time clinical job is kept by the person)
  • Coordinate US military research projects
  • Support and participate as speaker at clinical workshops, scientific congress lunch symposia and webinars for US clinicians
  • Support CAS team to train MDs in US at reference institutions
