Postdoctoral Fellow - Cancer Immunology, Delamarre Lab

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join the Delamarre lab in the Department of Cancer Immunology. The group is interested in understanding the determinants of protective tumor T cell responses with the goal of designing strategies to stimulate anti-tumor immunity. Basic research projects include 1) identification of tumor antigens that drive tumor immunity and prediction of immunogenic T cell epitopes, 2) characterization of the mechanisms by which RNA and DNA vaccine platforms elicit adaptive immune responses, with a focus on innate sensing, 3) characterization of the determinants of TCR/antigen pairs that produce effective tumor immunity. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and leverage state-of-the art techniques and tools for her/his research project.

Requirements:

  • PhD in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, virology, or relevant field
  • A strong background in T cell immunology,  myeloid cell/dendritic cell biology, and/or innate sensing of nucleic acids is highly desired.
  • Documented ability to initiate, drive and complete significant research projects, as evidenced by one or more first author research publications in high quality journals
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills and creative problem-solving will be expected
