Financial Analyst II

Job Summary:
 Responsibilities for general analyst duties for the COSCI Major Maintenance Group.
• Assists with preparation of TMG major maintenance yearly departmental budget and five-year forecast.
• Prepares and analyzes assigned monthly variance analysis and cost statements including forecast updates. 
• Position will be involved in development of and preparation of various department processes and metrics.
• Coordinates with outage directors/managers and planning & scheduling to understand project scope and cost drivers.
• Assists in development of detailed project forecasts for outage projects based on planned scope.
• Analyzes project-level cost drivers and develops scenario-analysis for decision makers. 
• Coordinates with outage project managers to collect and report project cost information to Outage Services Management and Accounting.
• Stay informed of schedule changes and its impact to scopes and forecast to support outage directors and planners 
• Assists in preparation of monthly internal management reporting packages on results of outages, which includes variance analysis.
• Familiarity with MSA contracts as it applies to outages and any spend level commitment 
• Develops and maintains job processes and procedures.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.  Related experience will be considered.
• Requires 6-8 years’ experience in related field.
• Critical thinking, financial and data analysis skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel
• PeopleSoft, Maximo experience a plus
