Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist

Do you want to be part of a team whose talent and dedication are unmatched in the industry? RES is currently accepting applications for a Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist for our Houston TX office. This position mainly focuses on regional recruitment of highly specialized talent throughout United States, and also on corporate positions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sourcing, screening and hiring great talent to support growth.
  • Work across all functional and geographic areas of the business to assist in building teams across RES but particularly for construction management, field service personnel, stream designers, project managers, ecologists, and field biologists.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process to ensure hiring needs are met.
  • Train hiring managers on compliance, talent acquisition and management systems, and RES hiring policies and practices.
  • Leverage referrals, social media, job fairs, job boards, universities and other creative methods to market open positions and source highly qualified, motivated individuals.
  • Perform initial resume and or phone screening to verify and validate qualifications.
  • Assist with RES’s Affirmative Action Plan and push new initiatives to drive diversity.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
  • Preferable, 3+ years of experience in the sourcing and recruiting of construction, hourly field personnel, stream designers, project managers, ecologists, biologists, regulatory analysts, sales and business development, marketing, finance and accounting
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Platforms (preferably iCims)
  • Knowledge of compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
  • Environmental or Energy industry knowledge a plus
