Recruiting Coordinator

Hudson River Trading is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join our People Operations team, a small but highly productive group based in NYC. The People Ops team is responsible for the well-being and performance of all HRTers across our global offices. From recruiting to onboarding to the continued engagement and development of our employees, the People Ops team is dedicated to creating an environment that is authentic, inclusive, and upholds our company values. As part of People Ops, it is your job to ensure we attract and retain phenomenal people from all walks of life. 
Joining HRT as a Recruiting Coordinator, you will find yourself overseeing a variety of operational functions related to recruiting. In this role you will be responsible for managing the interview logistics and candidate experience for each candidate. Some days will be packed with urgent operational issues requiring immediate attention (we call this #runtheday), while other days you might focus on making improvements to our recruiting process, or maintaining our systems. Every day will require extremely close teamwork and collaboration with recruiters, as the synchronous communication between you and your recruiting counterparts is fundamental to the success of the team.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule candidate interviews using our automated scheduling system, GoodTime
  • Manage day-of interview communication and coordination with interviewers and candidates
  • Ensure that all candidates have a stellar interview experience
  • Become an expert in HRT's recruiting software and tools 
  • Actively maintain and improve HRT’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS)  
  • Manage recruiting pipelines in the ATS to optimize data integrity
  • Partner with recruiters to continuously assess HRT’s recruiting and operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Arrange candidate-related dinners and events 
  • Manage recruiting programs as needed such as the Interviewer Training program
  • Assist campus recruiting team with logistics and events as needed

Profile
  • 0-2 years of experience in a recruiting coordination or operations role 
  • Event and logistics coordination experience 
  • Articulate communicator with outstanding writing skills
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Ambition and a strong desire to make an impact
  • A sense of humor and a sense of urgency
  • Positive and team-oriented attitude
