We currently have openings for IT Service Desk Specialist. In this position you will monitor and respond to end user service requests and incidents. Specific on-the-job training will be provided. As an IT Service Desk Specialist your responsibilities include:
  • Provide support for end user devices including laptops, peripherals, displays, telephones, and audio\visual equipment.
  • Own onboarding and offboarding of employees including account management, permission assignment, asset tracking and reclamation.
  • Provide service throughout the lifecycle of end user devices from initial provisioning to upgrades and replacements.
  • Resolve inquiries by researching documentation, providing answers, referring to appropriate resources and training end-users.
  • Actively seek out feedback from end users for the purposes of process improvement.
  • Maintain security by enforcing policy and configuration standards on end user devices, and by identifying and escalating security related risks to the internal security team.

 

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-5 years of progressive Help Desk experience preferred.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Platforms including Windows 10 and Office 365 Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and or Azure Active Directory.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft Exchange Online.
  • Familiarity with IP networking including DHCP and DNS services.
  • Capable of troubleshooting end user hardware devices.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and constructive attitude and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Superior problem-solving skills with customer service, communication, and technical abilities.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to MN.
