Job Description: Project Development, EPC & Operations administrative Intern
 
Reports to: VP, Project Development, EPC & Operations
 
OCI Solar Power is a respected project developer and owner-operator of solar power projects. We are seeking an intern to assist with administrative tasks for the department and provide support for a growing organization in a fast paced environment. This position is located in San Antonio, Texas and provides a perfect opportunity for a professional looking for interesting work within a small cohesive team, the ability to expand their experience and contribute to the corporation's success.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision by the VP, Project Development, EPC & Operations, the Intern provides support for the VP with administrative tasks in the departments he leads.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
1.      Manage and coordinate all POs, invoicing, and payments for clients, landlords, vendors, contractors, suppliers, etc.
2.      Manage and coordinate all logistics, shipments, tracking, pick-ups, deliveries, custom, paperwork, and brokers for parts supply 
3.      Manage and coordinate all communications with clients and suppliers, and all orders for spare parts (Receiving from clients and putting to Suppliers)
4.      Generate, manage, and update a master tracking list for all POs, invoices, payments, critical deadlines; and coordinate with accounting team accordingly
5.      Support Uptime Solar on the management and update of the Master Inventory Tracker  
6.      Support on the market search and reach out for new vendors, service providers, and clients for PD, EPC, and Uptime   
7.      Support on the management and update of the Master Compliance Tracker (payment, notifications, certifications, etc.) for PD, EPC, and Uptime   
8.      Support on budget and expense tracking, reporting, accruals for PD, EPC, and Uptime   
9.      Support on contract management and coordination for all departments 
10.  Support on drafting and developing policies for all departments
11.  Support on generating weekly, monthly, quarterly, an annual reports as applicable and needed
12.  Support on developing, managing, organizing, and updating the database for PD, EPC, and Uptime   
13.  Support on travel arrangements 
14.  Support PD on drafting letters, notifications for landlords and other projects related activities
15.  Support on creating, managing, developing, and updating a Master Progress Trackers for PD, EPC, and Uptime      
16.  Support PD on USPS / Fed Ex preparation, arrangements, and tracking
17.  Support PD on filing original documents, and recording real estate related memoranda
18.  Support on other activities related to PD, EPC, and Uptime on as needed basis
 



QUALIFICATIONS:
·        Exceptional technical writing skills for customers and other external viewers
·        Excellent ability to create rapport with clients and stakeholders in a business environment
·        Organized and efficient and capable of setting priorities in a busy environment
·        Ability to work independently and manage vendor relationships
·        Good team player and ability to work in a growing team environment
·        Strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem resolution skills
·        Self-starter with effective interpersonal and communication skills
·        Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects
