Social Media Specialist

As the Social Media Specialist, you will assist the Marketing team in executing the Canfield Scientific social media strategy globally and across multiple channels. The right individual will possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
- Support marketing and creative teams on growing all Canfield social media channels
- Own channel strategy, content optimization and paid ads for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Source, schedule and post all social content in a consistent manner
- Provide ongoing social media reporting and insights that will enable the Marketing team to refine the social media strategy and tactics as necessary
- Identify collaboration opportunities and partner with Digital Marketing Managers
- Create engaging text, videos, and image content
- Develop customer stories and testimonials as part of social strategy
Core Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in social media required
- Active social media user with robust working knowledge of all notable social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and Canva
- Experienced with e-commerce platforms and Instagram Shop is a plus
- Strong planning, problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve any content issues swiftly
Desired Qualifications:
- Healthcare industry knowledge and photography experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of Premiere Pro is advantageous
