Postdoctoral position - T cell Responses Involved in Neurodegenerative Diseases (Sette/Arlehamn)

Job Summary
A Postdoctoral Fellowship position is available immediately at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology in the lab of Dr. Alessandro Sette and Dr. Cecilia Lindestam Arlehamn, who are interested in understanding human T cell reactivity in neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and ALS.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will join an interdisciplinary group of researchers with a strong sense of collaboration dedicated to the identification and characterization of T cell responses against a variety of complex antigens. They will build upon previous discoveries implicating a role for T cells in neurodegenerative diseases (PMIDs: 28636593, 31085590, 31430650, and 32313102).
 
Leveling Requirements
Candidates must have:
●     Strong background in either basic immunology, T cell immunity, or neurodegenerative disease.
●     Strong verbal and written communication skills.
