Job Title – Enterprise Customer Onboarding for CSC - Process Analyst
Software Development Intern –

Summary of Internship - The Software Development Internship position provides an opportunity for engineering students who are currently pursuing a computer science, computer engineering, or like engineering degree to get hands on experience working with engineers in a fast-paced software design and software environment. The software intern will contribute to defining and executing on process to onboard enterprise customers for various programs under Service 2030 vision including Customer Service Center. The intern will work with IES business innovation R&D and multiple IT eco-systems and application teams in software development projects, with the purpose of discovering new ways of working, providing innovation solutions, actions, and initiatives around service & support, knowledge management and customer onboarding. The position starts in June, paid working 40 hours per week through August. Opportunity exists for this position to continue through the academic year on a part-time basis to allow for class schedules. 

Essential Functions
· Understand and document existing complex business/system processes backed by data analysis
· Work with various product team members, functional PoC and system experts to define interfaces between the systems
· Document future business process flow and high level system flow for customer onboarding
· Analyze and document data quality gaps
· Perform System Integration Testing, facilitate User Acceptance Testing, and Quality Assurance Testing
· Deploy tested and approved solutions and transition to the Support & Operations team

· Specific tasks will be tailored to the software interns experience level and abilities
· A software intern works under the close supervision of engineers, project managers, and software engineering managers
Skills and Abilities
· Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team in an Agile environment
· Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve
· Desire to contribute and improve design of new and existing scientific instrumentation products
· Familiarity with Front-end and back end engineering, Web development, data engineering and data science
· Familiarity with of least one software development tool set such as C#, HTML and RPA Tools
· Aptitude for writing software programs

Qualifications
· Engineering Degree
· Previous Internship Experience
· Software development experience (.NET, OCR, PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML, C or SQL)
